I never stopped loving HIM. And never stopped hoping that HE would fall back in love with me as well.
If Stefan is so good and Damon is so bad, why is it always the older, wiser (better) characters who come to love and appreciate Damon over Stefan? Why does Stefan have the likes of Klaus - a villain - as someone he identifies with and befriends while Damon has Alaric (and Elena, Rose, Liz and Carol)? Why is it Caroline - a callow teenager - who thinks SE is epic yet it’s the much wiser and more experienced Rose and Alaric who are rooting for DE? Why is it that Jeremy has never formed any kind of bond with Stefan over four seasons but the writer’s have been building a full relationship - with all it’s twists and turns, darkness and light - between Damon and Jeremy from the very beginning of the series? Why do we have Stefan walking away from people when there’s no longer any benefit to him while we have Damon staying even after he’s been hurt and rejected, just to help those he cares about?
